Tickets

Scientifica is free and generally open to the public. However, for certain events, you’ll need a free ticket due to limited seating.

Events Requiring Registration
Registration is required for events taking place in the city (24 – 28 August). You can register online for free starting August 17.

Tickets for Shows, Workshops, etc.
Free tickets for workshops, guided tours, and shows on the weekends of August 22–23 and 29–30 are available at the on-site ticket counter one hour before the start of each event. Advance online reservations are not possible. There are always plenty of alternatives that are accessible without a ticket.

Streetfood and More

On the weekends of 22 – 23 August and 29 – 30 August, street food stands and various restaurants at all locations will offer a wide, varied, and family-friendly selection of food and drinks.

Museums and Exhibitions

In addition to the special events, the museums and exhibitions at UZH and ETH will be open during their regular hours for the entire duration of Scientifica.
